A day at the FabLab: from idea to prototype

We follow a start-up team as they turn a sketch into a working prototype with 3D printing and laser cutting.

First thing in the morning, the (fictional) team arrives with a sketch of a sensor for farm irrigation. During the day they test materials, print parts and refine the design with help from the FabLab staff.

By the evening, the prototype already measures soil moisture and sends the data to a phone.
